Hear ye, hear ye, hear ye...
- Next week's Relief Society lesson is on President Uchtdorf's talk entitled Forget Me Not.
- Our Relief Society will be sending Christmas packages to our missionaries again this year. There are four missionaries currently serving in our Ward. See here for suggestions. These are only suggestions, sisters . . . feel free to make this a family project and include whatever you would like (on a small scale) in these Christmas care packages. Donation boxes will be at church on Sunday.
- The November Visiting Teaching message, Call to Action, may be found here.
- Our December Relief Society Meeting will be Tuesday, December 6th at 6:30 p.m. We will have dinner and a program. Details are here. There are special details about service projects associated with that evening. Please come join us for a special holiday evening.
- Our Ward Christmas Party will be a breakfast this year at the Treeline Chapel . . . mark your calendar for Saturday morning, December 17th. Time TBA.
- If you'd like to help a family in need this Christmas please see the Vegas Valley Ward Angel Tree in the foyer on Sunday. Simply remove an ornament from the tree for a Walmart gift card for the denomination appropriate for your family. Purchase the gift card and put it in an envelope (along with the ornament you removed from the tree) and give it to a member of the Bishopric. The gift cards will be used to purchase specifics for a few families, anonymously. There are a few ornaments on the tree designated for cash (if that is easier for your family), but the preferred method of donation is a Walmart gift card. The deadline to turn in the gift cards is December 18th.
