There will be a Primary Activity on Friday, March 25th from 5:30 until 7 p.m.
The Young Women General Broadcast on Saturday, March 26th will begin with a Social at the Stake Center at 4 p.m. - the broadcast will begin at 5 p.m. - bring your young women to this special evening . . . it's always uplifting and wonderful.
Sunday's lesson will be from based on the article by Elder Larry R. Lawrence entitled, Courageous Parenting.

The Distribution Center at the Temple is now closed. There is a beautiful, new and fully stocked Distribution Center on the second floor of the Deseret Book located at 7650 W. Sahara., between Rainbow and Buffalo.

Ward Temple Night is Saturday, March 19th, the 6 p.m. session.

Our Relief Society Temple Brunch will be this Saturday, March 12th. We will meet at the Temple for the 8:30 session and have brunch immediately following at Monta L's home. Even if you're unable to join us at 8:30, meet us for brunch and birthday cake (approximately 10:45 a.m.) to celebrate the Relief Society's Birthday!
Sunday's lesson will be from Chapter 29, The Lord's Law of Health.

Volunteers are needed for the Quad Stake Youth Conference on Saturday, April 9th at Sunrise Mountain High School (near Carey and Hollywood). Our Stake has the assignment to feed 800 people for dinner. They are looking for 50 volunteers to assist with preparation, serving and clean up so the YM/YW leaders can be with the youth and assist with activitites during this time. There are several shifts available from 3:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Please look for the sign ups in the binders on Sunday. This Sunday, March 13th will be the last day to sign up to help.

Sunday's lesson will be based on the Ensign article entitled And of Some Have Compassion, Making A Difference, by Barbara Thompson.
Our Relief Society Temple Brunch will be Saturday, March 12th. We will meet at the Temple for the 8:30 session and have brunch immediately following at Monta L's home. There will be a Relief Society Birthday celebration at our brunch. Please join us.
The Las Vegas Mormon Youth Symphony & Chorus will have a performance on Saturday, March 5th at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the LDS Church located at 221 S. Lorenzi, sponsored by the Sandstone Stake. This will be our own Willy R.'s last performance before he leaves for his mission. See here for details.
The last day to pay for a canning order is Sunday, March 6th. Carrots for $7.50, Cocoa Mix for $8.80 and Flour for $3.20. Checks and order forms in the binders should be turned into the Bishopric with a tithing slip marked "other" and "canning order". The canning date is March 10th at 9 a.m.
