• Want to start a vegetable garden this year?  This is your year.  We have the Valley's greatest expert coming to teach us how in February.  Linn Mills is a horticulturist for the Las Vegas Valley Water District at the Springs Preserve.  Brother Mills' column appears weekly in the Sunday Living section of the Las Vegas Review Journal.  He will be teaching us on Tuesday, February 14th at 6:30 p.m.  The timing is perfect to get started, so please plan on joining us.  He will be taking questions at the end of the evening about all your vegetable garden dreams.  Childcare will be provided and there will be a light supper - salad bar, of course!

• Do you need a new Ward List?  Maybe you want a hard copy for your desk drawer instead of looking up an address or phone number on lds.org.?  If so, just stop into the Ward Clerk's office.  There are lots of different versions of Ward Lists available!
• If you have not yet received your 2012 Manual (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: George Albert Smith), copies will be in the Relief Society Room this week.  We will make sure those serving in Primary and Young Women receive a Manual this week.  After January 8th extra copies will be available to borrow in the Ward Library if you forget yours at home.
