Here's the Personal Progress challenge. Use those "I'm bored" moments to work on a value or project.
Sister Moulton shared with me some advice she received at a recent meeting with the Stake Presidency and I wish to share that advice with you. Hopefully I get the details correct. President Richardson recently attended a training in SLC for his position as Temple Recorder. In a casual conversation with Elder David A. Bednar during a break in the training, someone asked Elder Bednar how they can keep their youth close to them. He responded with two suggestions: 1) talk to them 2) have them work on family history 10 minutes each day. I have decided to take this advice and added another 10 minutes of Personal Progress or Duty to God and 10 minutes of scripture reading. And I'm doing this with my daughter and it is a great way to begin the day! Check out this page for more information on Youth and Family History.
