March happenings...
- The March Visiting Teaching message may be found here, Daughters in My Kingdom.
- There is a General Young Women Meeting on Saturday, March 24th at 5 p.m. at the Stake Center. Young Women 12 to 18 and their mothers are invited to participate.
- Spring cleaning? There will be a Deseret Industries drive beginning March 23rd until March 26th. See lds.org for additional details.
- Stake Conference is Saturday, April 28th at 7 p.m. (Adult Session) and Sunday, April 29th at 10 a.m. (General Session). Elder Michael D. Pickerd of the Seventy will be joining us. In addition to these regular meetings, there will be a meeting at 9:20 a.m. on Sunday for all new members and investigators to meet with the Stake Presidency and Elder Pickerd.
- The 4th Annual East Stake Fun Run is THIS Saturday, March 24th at 7 a.m. The start line is at the very south end of Hollywood Boulevard. There is a 10K, 5K and a 1 mile fun run. Bring something to share such as orange slices, bananas cut into 2" pieces, pretzels, cookies and/or small pastries.
- Mark your calendars for The Vegas Valley Ward Family Dance on Friday, April 13th at 6:30 p.m. Look for sign ups for snacks for that night . . . bring the entire family!
