School's out!

Those who attended our self-reliance class in May had a great time learning to make bread, took home a small loaf and samples of honey butter and cinnamon honey butter (all delicious). Several sisters have requested a demonstration on bread making without the use of mixers. So if you'd like to learn bread making by hand join us next Wednesday, June 5th @ 6 pm at the Roach home.

Congratulations to our 2 new Relief Society Sisters, Bailee Walker & Juliette Burgon. They will be graduating from High School within the next couple of weeks and soon making their way into our meetings. Please congratulate them and welcome them into our circle of sisterhood. We are so happy to have you join us.

We have had a couple of new sisters move into our ward recently. If you see someone you don’t recognize introduce yourself because she is probably new to the ward and feeling overwhelmed by all the new faces. Sadly we also have some who will be leaving our ward but not our hearts. We will miss the close association we’ve had but we are forever touched by knowing you.

As our youth are getting ready for summer camp, there are many who are looking for work to help them pay for those camps. Please, if you have jobs around the house that can be done by one of them, don't hesitate to hire one, two, or more to help out. You will not only be giving them the opportunity to go to camp but also the satisfaction of earning their own way. Call one of the youth leaders if you are not sure who to hire.
